Nigeria’s blazing youngster, Oyinlomo Quadre has won her second consecutive national championship after a crushing defeat of Aanu Ayegbusi in the women’s singles final of the Dala Hard Court Championship in Kano.
The Nigerian number three defeated Ayegbusi in two straight sets of 6-2, 6-0 to add to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Open tournament she won in June, 2019.
Prior to the commencement of the competition, there were talks about Quadre dominating the local scene based on her impeccable form over the past few years.
And the Morocco-based player justified those predictions by winning the tournament in Kano without dropping a set.
With this win, the youngster has now won the last two national tournaments in the country and takes home a cash price of N600,000.
